That was a wrap! The NKN – Gitcoin GR11 hackathon ended on 29th September 2021. We are overjoyed to see so many developers, designers, and technical writers participating in the hackathon and submitting great apps and solutions. Thank you!

During the Hackathon, we had the pleasure of working with over 30 developers/teams who built impressive apps such as collaborative whiteboard, real time location tracking for ride sharing, and a metaverse game on our unique decentralized P2P communication network. In addition, there are creative NFT, new SDK,  and enhanced documentation for existing SDKs.

So what will happen next? In the next two weeks, NKN team will thoroughly review all the submissions, arrange some interviews and live demos, and check all the repositories for code and documentation. And finally we plan to announce the winners in mid October! The prizes will be granted to those who have successfully completed the projects to the pre-set standards, with the highest potential to boost NKN utility and drive NKN adoptions!
