Today we are happy to announce the updated NKN roadmap beyond 2020, in both technology and commercial tracks. Our ultimate goal for NKN is to become the secure and indispensable intergalactic connectivity platform, so it is time to ignite the engines!
– nMobile is an extra secure and trusted chat app, available on iOS and Android today.
– Why nMobile? To eradicate the roots of security hacks and privacy issues of popular chat apps such as whatsapp and signal, by removing all centralized servers.
– Targeted audience: people who put highest priority on security and privacy, such as crypto community, minority groups, and financial/legal/health professionals.
– Why is it better? nMobile runs on dataRide, a blockchain powered distributed communication system by over 20,000 independent, open source and community run relay servers.
With today’s launch of NKN 2.0, we look beyond blockchain technology and set our gaze upon a much larger prize. Our steaming hot prize is Network as a Service, or in plain English, how we can connect all the people and things in the world, quickly and securely.
With the successful completion of this audit, the security of the project is significantly improved and every functional module can be operated in a relatively safe and secure manner. This is a crucial milestone and prerequisite for NKN 2.0.
Recently the developers of the community-known NKNx ecosystem ChrisT and lightmyfire and the creator of nStatus, Mutsi, decided to join force and form the first NKN Open-Source community called “Rule110”.
Highlights: You value both function (Direct, group, multimedia) and usability (reaction, typing indicator, read receipt, multi-platform) Voice is still king, followed by video chat and conference calls Security and privacy is very high on your minds Most use Telegram, second by WhatsApp You believe Telegram is most secure, followed by Signal Introduction Messaging applications have […]
As part of Wolfram Physics Project, NKN advisor Dr. Stephen Wolfram touched upon NKN as an example of distributed computing and using Cellular Automata for consensus algorithm. What can developers do with NKN’s latest SDK, a decentralized communication stack that enables true peer to peer messaging, streaming, and file transfer? We would like to sort them into two main categories: Things you can do ONLY with NKN SDK. Send and receive data for free between any NKN powered apps regardless of their […]
